Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Home Health pediatric role focused on high-risk infants in the Richardson, TX area. This position welcomes first-time travelers and local candidates alike.

You will cover a pediatric home health caseload, perform comprehensive OT evaluations, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and caregivers. A day shift with no weekends or on-call is offered, plus mileage reimbursement and travel/licensure support.

Qualifications

• Current OT license required if applicable
• Certifications relevant to license required
• Pending license not accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering the Richardson, TX territory
• Pediatric OT caseload focused on high-risk infants
• Average of 6-7 patients per day with about 20 visits per week
• Day shift schedule, 2x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• Mileage reimbursed for travel between visits
• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders
• Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers
• Collaborate and coordinate care with other providers and disciplines
• Complete required weekly patient visit minimums
• Maintain timely documentation including chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs
• Adhere to agency policies and all applicable laws and regulations for pediatric home health OT
• Dress code includes scrubs, t-shirt/jeans/pants, and closed-toe shoes
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
