Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Level III NICU RN with 3+ years of NICU experience and proficiency with ventilators and oscillators for micro preemies. The role requires a DC RN license, BLS/NRP/STABLE certifications, and two supervisor references.

You will work in a Level III NICU caring for neonates from 23 weeks to 4 months, including high-risk deliveries. Expect 3x12-hour shifts with on-call duties and opportunities for travel-related housing and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in district required (DC RN license).
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required (AHA).
• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience.
• Proficiency with ventilators, oscillators, pressors; care of micro preemies.
• Two supervisor references within past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Level III NICU setting, patient range 23 weeks to 4 months.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and respond to neonatal emergencies.
• Provide noninvasive CPAP, mechanical ventilation, HFOV, nitric oxide.
• 3x12-hour AM/PM shifts; on-call required.
• Assist with bedside procedures and parental teaching.
