Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Level III NICU position on the night shift in Texas. Ideal candidates have ventilator/oscillator experience and care for 23-40+ week gestation infants, with CPR and NRP current. Position requires 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment, with weekends and floating to Level II NICU.

Active TX RN license and 1+ year NICU experience are required; no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Active TX RN license required with current CPR and NRP.
• Minimum 1 year NICU experience with 23-40+ week gestation infants.
• Ventilator/oscillator experience required; no local candidates.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU.
• Assist with procedures: intubations, eye exams, feeding tubes, IVs.
• Work night shift and meet 1:2 to 1:3 nurse:patient ratios.
