Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3-4 NICU position in Florida. Requires 3+ years NICU experience including vents, oscillators, pressors, and micro preemie care. Active FL or compact RN license and required certifications (STABLE, NRP, BLS) are needed.

The role includes night shifts (3x12 hours) over a 13-week assignment, with housing allowance and travel/licensure support. Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Level 3-4 Neonatal ICU setting within a hospital.
• Patient population ranges from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months old.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and C-sections as needed.
• Provide noninvasive and invasive respiratory support, including CPAP, MV, HFOV, and NO therapy.
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week over 13 weeks).
• Assist with bedside procedures, medication administration, vital signs, and parental teaching.
• Most diagnostic services provided at the bedside.

• Experience with vents, oscillators, pressors, and micro preemies required
• Experience performing bedside procedures including peripheral IV insertion, septic workups, intubations, percutaneous catheter insertions, parenteral therapy, and blood product administration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months with at least one from the most recent employer

Responsibilities

• Level 3-4 Neonatal ICU setting within a hospital
• Patient population ranges from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months old
• Neonates admitted primarily from labor and delivery, with unit responding to neonatal emergencies and attending high-risk deliveries and C-sections
• Treats conditions including extreme prematurity, respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, hypoglycemia, congenital anomalies, seizures, and meconium aspiration syndrome
• Provides noninvasive nasal CPAP, mechanical ventilation, High Frequency Oscillation, and nitric oxide inhalation therapy
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Assist with bedside procedures, medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and parent teaching
• Most diagnostic services are provided at the bedside
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility
