Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for NICU in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves caring for critically ill newborns in a NICU setting, with a 24-week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and travel employment.

Qualifications

• One year of recent NICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in state regulations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill and premature neonates and document changes.
• Administer prescribed neonatal meds and treatments per standards.
• Operate NICU equipment including ventilators and CPAP machines.
• Educate and support families on neonatal care and feeding techniques.
• Assist with life-saving procedures and participate in care planning.
