Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit travel nurse for a Phoenix, AZ assignment. The role supports sick and premature infants with round-the-clock care as part of a dedicated care team.

The NICU RN will monitor infants, manage lines and equipment, and collaborate with parents to provide guidance for home care after discharge. The position involves 12-week duration, 36 hours per week, and a travel schedule.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS required for the assignment.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Care for neonates transitioning to extrauterine life.
• Monitor vitals and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
