Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. This assignment runs for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience, BLS, and possibly additional certifications. Expect to care for sick and premature infants and support families in a fast-paced NICU travel role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience
• BLS required
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Responsibilities

• Care for sick and premature infants in NICU
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes
• Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings
• Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs
• Provide arterial and intravenous therapy
• Monitor equipment such as incubators and ventilators
