Cross Country Allied in Baltimore, MD seeks a travel Certified Respiratory Therapist - NICU for a night shift-focused assignment in a high-acuity neonatal environment. The role covers ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and cross-coverage across NICU, PICU, and general units.

The ideal candidate holds an RRT credential, active MD/Compact license, and ACLS/BLS/NRP/PALS certifications. Expect 12-hour nights, ~48 hours weekly, with on-call and weekend requirements as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Active MD or Compact license.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (AHA).
• Experience with neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Level III/IV NICU experience; PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care respiratory therapy for a mixed-age patient population with neonatal focus.
• Ventilator management across NICU, PICU, and other units.
• Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpretation; airway management.
