Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging center requiring 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification. The role covers a 10-hour day shift (Tue–Fri, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM) in a single MRI suite with potential minor travel to nearby facilities.

Candidates must be able to operate independently, perform peds to geriatric scans, and manage IV starts; benefits include Day 1 medical/dental/vision, 401(k), weekly pay, and CEUs.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
BLS and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required
WA state license required if applicable
Experience scanning peds through geriatric patients for general MRI studies
Peripheral IV start skills required
Must be comfortable working independently, as may be the only MRI Tech on site with other support staff available

Responsibilities

Outpatient MRI suite at an imaging center seeing peds through geriatric patients
General MRI studies including knees, spine, brain, and extremities
No sedation cases, with device patients scheduled in advance requiring coordination with device reps
Averages approximately 25 patients per day in a single MRI suite
Uses GE MRI equipment, Philips View PACS, and Epic EMR
10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Facility is closed on Sundays and for major holidays
May float to a nearby hospital or other outpatient facility 5-10 minutes away
On-call is optional at the hospital
May assist in onboarding and training new hires
Solid color scrubs required with no graphics, logos, or designs
First-time travelers considered only with 5+ years of experience
