Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, with BLS and state license/certification as applicable.

The position involves evening hours (2:45 PM–10:45 PM), no weekends or on-call, and requires use of GE MRI equipment and Epic charting. Travel and local candidates within 50 miles are considered with rate variations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration.
• Valid references and copies of certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday from 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM.
• No weekends or on-call requirements.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Works with GE MRI equipment.
• Performs imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Conducts specialized procedures including MRA, MRCP, MRV, perfusion, and spin echo imaging.
• Adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50 mile radius at a different rate.
• RTO must be submitted upfront and no changes accepted after submission.
• Modules completed during orientation period.
