Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification for a role spanning inpatient, ER, and offsite imaging coverage.

The position requires BLS, eligibility for license where required, and experience with EPIC charting. Shifts include 3x12 hours with onsite coverage for Inpatient and ER and offsite imaging on weekends.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required; ARRT (MR) preferred if ARMRIT not held.
• BLS required for clinical operations.
• 2+ years imaging experience preferred.
• Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Experience with contrast media administration and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
• Friday shifts onsite covering Inpatient and ER.
• Saturday and Sunday shifts offsite.
• Perform abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and MSK MRI studies.
• Special imaging including diffusion, perfusion, and peripheral MRA.

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required; ARRT (R) not required if candidate holds ARRT (MR)
• BLS required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Epic charting experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Friday shifts worked onsite at the hospital covering Inpatient and ER
• Saturday and Sunday shifts worked offsite
• Uses Philips and GE equipment
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Performs abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI studies
• Performs special imaging procedures including diffusion, perfusion, and peripheral MRA
• Adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma work settings
• Covers inpatient, ER/trauma, and outpatient imaging needs across onsite and offsite locations
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
