Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and BLS to join a Trauma Level II facility in Missouri. The role requires at least 1 year of MRI experience and expertise in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging, with contrast media preparation and IV starts.

Responsibilities include performing MRI studies across acute care, ICU, ER/Trauma, and outpatient settings, using Siemens equipment with PACS, and participating in on-call

Qualifications

• ARRT MR and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience required.
• Trauma Level II experience required; Level I preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• State license preferred (license required if applicable).
• Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and MSK MRI procedures.
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and starting peripheral IVs.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE.

Responsibilities

• MRI Tech unit supporting Trauma Level II services.
• Treats adult and pediatric patients in acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings.
• Performs MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and MSK imaging.
• Conducts special imaging procedures such as MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, and perfusion studies.
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment and PACS imaging system.
• Evening shift schedule: 1400–0030, Mon/Wed/Thu/Fri.
• On-call rotation: 1 week every 9 weeks.
• First-time travelers welcome.

• Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
• Non-billable orientation modules completed through MyPath, up to 4 hours factored into schedule
