Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment in Massachusetts. You will perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging procedures with ARRT MR certification required.

The role requires 1 year of MRI experience, BLS, and MA state license if applicable. You’ll work 4x10 hour days on a rotating schedule, with weekend coverage every other Saturday, on Siemens MRI systems.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience.
• MA state license required if applicable.
• Skilled in imaging abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions.
• Experience with MRA, MRV, MRCP and other advanced imaging preferred.
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts.
• Experience with MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma work settings.
• Average daily census of 125 with 40 visits per day.
• 4x10 hour day shifts with rotating two-week schedule, including shifts from 10:30 to 23:00.
• Weekend coverage required every other Saturday.
• Siemens MRI equipment used.
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required.
• Perform a broad range of MRI procedures including abdominal, pelvic, cardiac, neurological, and musculoskeletal imaging.
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols as part of daily patient care.
• First-time travelers with required experience will be considered.
• Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler.
