Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a community hospital in Florida. Requires 1+ year MRI experience and ARRT certification; license if applicable. The role covers outpatient, inpatient, and ER imaging with a 210-bed facility.

Shifts are 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with on-call and potential floating within scope. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MRI technologist experience required.
• BLS and ARRT certification required; ARRT Advanced Cert and ARRT MR preferred.
• Experience with IV starts and PACS; Meditech charting experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acute care community hospital setting with 210 staffed beds.
• Outpatient, inpatient, and ER imaging coverage.
• Daily caseload of 5–10 patients.
• Operate 1.5T Siemens Symphony MRI equipment.
• 4×10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• On-call rotation required; floating within scope.
• Charting completed in Meditech.
• Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, and MSK studies.
• Experience with diffusion imaging and MPR techniques preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year MRI Technologist experience required
• BLS and ARRT certification required, ARRT Advanced Cert and ARRT MR preferred
• Outpatient, inpatient, ER, and community hospital experience required
• Level 1 Trauma and Adult ICU experience preferred
• Experience with IV starts, PACS, and contrast administration required
• Proficiency in neuro, orthopedic, and abdominal imaging
• Meditech charting experience preferred
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Acute care community hospital setting with 210 staffed beds
• Outpatient, inpatient, and ER imaging coverage
• Daily caseload of 5-10 patients
• 1.5T Siemens Symphony MRI equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call rotation required
• Floating required as needed within scope
• Charting completed in Meditech
• Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Frequent imaging of brain, face/soft tissue neck, and cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine
• Experience with diffusion imaging, gradient echo, image post-processing, MIP, and MPR techniques preferred
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Scrubs of any color accepted, no emblems permitted
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces
• Candidates must reside more than 30 miles from the facility
• Maximum of 10 days RTO permitted, requiring an assignment extension, with no RTO during the first or last week of the assignment
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• First-time travelers will be considered
