Qualifications
- Completed radiology program with MRI specialization and training.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Tech.
- Valid Radiology/MRI license per state regulations.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
Responsibilities
- Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
- Educate patients on MRI procedures and answer questions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment for proper function.
- Start IVs and administer contrast per orders.
- Monitor image quality and adjust scanning parameters.
- Document procedures and observations in hospital systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to infection control.
- Follow safety rules including radiation safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned for MRI Technologist.
