Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing has a travel MRI Technologist opening in Traverse City, Michigan. The role supports 13-hour day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, on a 13-week contract with travel assignments nationwide through a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year radiologic technology program, state registration, ARRT certification, and MRI experience in critical care settings to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Ensure patient safety around the MRI environment.
• Position patients and coils for imaging.
• Inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans.
• Recognize life-threatening situations and respond appropriately.
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Provide quality, cost-effective patient care and maintain a patient-focused environment.
