Job summary

The Employee Connect is seeking a Travel MRI Technician in Muskegon, Michigan for a 13-week onsite assignment. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and hospital staff to deliver high-quality imaging.

This role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, at least 2 years of MRI experience, and current BLS. Travel distance of 60+ miles is required, with shifts based on unit needs and a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety zones and screening.
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility (travel requirement).

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams per physician orders and department protocols.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications.
• Position patients and select optimal scan parameters.
• Administer contrast per protocol when ordered.
• Review images for quality before radiologist review.
• Document exams accurately in the EHR and PACS.
