Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in Traverse City, Michigan. The role requires ARRT/ARMRIT/CAMRT registration, an MRI-focused degree, and a current state license where applicable.

The position is a travel assignment in a hospital setting with 13 weeks duration and a 36-hour workweek on 12-hour day shifts. BLS and 2 years MRI experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT or ARMRIT or CAMRT registered.
• Current state license (if applicable) depending on state requirements.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of recent MRI Tech experience in a hospital or imaging center.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues.
• Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality; maintain patient records and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration.
