Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required or within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire.
• 1 year MA experience preferred.
• 2–4 years clerical/customer service in healthcare preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patients' vital signs and prepare for provider care.
• Document entries in the medical record with signature, date and time.
• Administer medication under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Observe and report signs or symptoms; collect routine lab specimens.
• Provide basic first aid.
• Participate in performance improvement projects.
• Coordinate patient care as an active care team member.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and staff.
