Job summary

UF Health Jacksonville is seeking a professional multi-skilled Medical Assistant to support physicians with administrative and clinical tasks. The role may require travel to other UF Health Heart & Vascular clinics to provide coverage as needed.

Under direct supervision of a licensed physician, you will contribute to ambulatory care, organize scheduling, and ensure efficient patient flow. A high school diploma or GED and MA program graduation are required, with MA certification within 6 months

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must graduate from an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Employees must obtain MA certification within 6 months of hire/transfer into the position.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
