Job summary

University of Florida Jacksonville Physicians, Inc. is looking for a professional Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative tasks under physician supervision in Jacksonville, FL. Required CMA certification or completion within 6 months, BLS at hire, and a High School Diploma.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take patients' vital signs and prepare them for care.
• Document all entries in medical records with signature, date and time.
• Administer medications under physician supervision.
• Observe/report patient signs or symptoms and collect routine specimens.
• Administer basic first aid and participate in improvement projects.
• Collaborate as an active care team member to coordinate patient care.
• Uphold high standards of customer service for patients and staff.
