Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role supports department operations, directs staff, and provides direct patient care within scope of practice.
Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS on hire, and at least 1 year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg. Pay includes a nightly differential and weekly pay with opportunities to advance.
Qualifications
- RN license and active state licensure required.
- BLS and ACLS required on hire and maintained.
- PALS required on hire and maintained.
- Minimum 1 year charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
Responsibilities
- Assist Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
- Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
- Ensure efficient use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain patient care standards and department operations.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient care plans and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure positive outcomes.
- Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
- Oversee staff performance and unit operations during shift.
