Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for nights in Lewiston, Maine. The assignment runs for 12 weeks, offering a weekly pay cycle and a $3/hour differential on top of base pay.
Qualified candidates hold a current RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus at least one year as a charge nurse in Med Surg. Immediate and flexible opportunities support your career journey with partner hospital networks.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) before hire and maintain.
- Current ACLS (AHA) before hire and maintain.
- PALS (AHA) before hire and maintain.
- At least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
- Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
- Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
- Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
- Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
