Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers a competitive pay rate per shift and a $3/hour differential, with weekly pay and opportunities across award-winning hospital partners.
The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, plus at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg. Join a dedicated team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
- ACLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
- PALS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
- Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
- Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
- Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
- Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
