Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine. This 12‑week assignment offers weekly pay and involvement in a dynamic Med Surg department with award‑winning hospital partners.

Ideal candidates hold a current RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and have 6–12 months of charge nurse experience in Med Surg. Pay ranges from $56.00 to $64.00 per hour with shifts paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification for hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification for hire and maintained.
• PALS certification for hire and maintained.
• Charge nurse experience in Med Surg for 6 months to 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
