Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. You will join the Med Surg department on night shifts, delivering direct patient care and leading staff as needed.

The role offers weekly pay, a $3/hour differential on top of base rate, and collaboration with award-winning hospital partners. The assignment emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license.
BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
PALS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
At least 1 year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
