Qualified candidates hold an RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and have 1 year of charge nurse Med Surg experience. A competitive, weekly pay package is offered with an hourly differential and extensive support from dedicated career specialists.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN license.
- BLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
- ACLS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
- PALS (AHA) certification required at hire and maintained.
- Typical charge nurse experience in Med Surg.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow.
- Supervise, direct, and evaluate team members.
- Ensure effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Maintain efficient department operations and patient care standards.
- Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
- Monitor patient care plans and direct necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to promote positive outcomes.
- Support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
- Oversee staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
