Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role includes assisting with daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care with a $3/hour differential on top of base pay.

Licensed RNs with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus at least one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg, are preferred. Pay ranges from $1,451 to $1,982 gross per week, with weekly payments.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• PALS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates team members.
• Ensures effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources.
• Maintains efficient department operations and patient care standards.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient care plans and directs necessary adjustments.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Supports a safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care environment.
• Oversees staff performance and unit operations during assigned shift.
