Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an LPN for a long-term care/skilled nursing facility on a night shift (7 PM–7:30 AM) with a requirement of at least 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

The role includes handling admissions, transfers, and discharges, coordinating care with CNAs and med aides, and ensuring accurate fall reporting. A valid driver's license is required for consideration and local candidates within an 80-mile radius may be adjusted rates.

Qualifications

• LPN license is required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be able to perform admissions and understand the admission process.
• Must know how to handle transfers, discharges, and fall reporting.
• Valid driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (post-acute) setting.
• 12-hour night shifts from 7PM-7:30AM.
• Works every other weekend and holiday.
• Resident to caregiver ratio of up to 1:35 with med pass at start of shift and support from up to 2 CNAs.
• Work week runs Sunday through Saturday.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.
• Responsible for all treatments and coordinating care with CNAs and med aides.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Accepts local candidates at an adjusted rate within an 80-mile radius.
• Two-week notice required for cancellation.
