Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility in the United States. The position starts 11/03/2026, runs for 8 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a 3x12-hour day shift from 05:00 to 17:00.

Weekly pay is 786–809, and Healthforce provides recruiter support, travel logistics, on-site clinical support, and payroll assistance to help with onboarding and during the assignment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing (state-specific licensure requirements apply to the assignment)
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
• Ability to perform 12-hour shifts in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting
• Effective communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in a travel assignment and adapting to new policies
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and use basic electronic health record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents within the scope of an LPN in a long-term care setting
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document observations
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans
• Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record and maintain resident confidentiality
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges per facility policy and procedures
• Ensure patient safety, fall prevention, infection control, and comfort; respond promptly to call lights and changes in condition
