Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in Skowhegan, Maine. This 7-week contract requires 36 hours per week with 3x12-hour shifts, starting 08/03/2026 and paying $732–$775 weekly in a skilled nursing facility focused on long‑term resident care.

Responsibilities include medication administration, resident monitoring, ADLs assistance, and collaboration with the care team to maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and a therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Maine.
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour day shifts.
• Eligible for travel assignments (temporary assignment).

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ health status, document vital signs, and report changes to the care team.
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care.
• Document accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and a clean, therapeutic environment; respond promptly to resident needs.
• Provide timely updates to the supervising nurse and participate in care planning as needed.
