Healthforce is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 5-week travel assignment in Florence, Alabama. The position offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with 3x12-hour night shifts in a skilled nursing facility, starting 11/03/2026.

Weekly pay ranges from $510 to $545, with final compensation discussed during hiring. The ideal candidate holds an active Alabama LPN license and is a graduate of an approved practical nursing program.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Alabama.
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Ability to work night shifts and the 3x12-hour schedule.
• Willingness to complete facility credentialing and orientation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and document responses.
• Monitor vital signs, assess resident status, and report changes promptly.
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and routine skin care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and update care plans.
