Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor, Hospital experience required

We are seeking a Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor with hospital experience. Candidates should have a PharmD degree (preferred), with 1-year residency and 2 years of experience. Other requirements include BLS certification and an AZ license (preferred).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Manage daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service and compliance with standards.
2. Develop and monitor operational and financial metrics, integrating efforts into organization-wide Quality Improvement systems.
3. Develop and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
4. Assess program and service effectiveness, fostering continuous process improvement.
5. Supervise staff, providing feedback and supporting professional growth.
6. Oversee computer-based information and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
7. Manage purchasing and inventory to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
8. Support staff development by assessing learning needs and coordinating training.
9. Prepare monthly operational reports, identifying areas for improvement.
10. Participate in departmental orientation, training, and quality assurance programs.
11. Engage in hospital educational programs to maintain skills and discuss training needs.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Five years of professional experience, including two years in management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred, including 1-year residency.
• Current and valid state Pharmacy license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
