Job description

Travel opportunity for a Pharmacist who has experience as a Supervisor! This position can be a contract up to a year.

Pharmacy/ Retail Supervisor.

Requirements

• Pharmacy/ Retail Supervisor experience; preference for local candidates.
• Hospital experience required.
• PharmD preferred; 1-year residency and 2+ years of experience or Tech OPs Lead; flexible days and shifts (8, 10, or shifts).
• BLS certification.
• Arizona license preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Hold a Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school. PharmD and PGY1 residency preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years pharmacist experience; at least two (2) years in hospital practice preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license; Arizona license preferred.
• Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing daily operations to ensure quality service and compliance with standards.
2. Developing operational and financial metrics and integrating into Quality Improvement systems.
3. Developing and evaluating policies and procedures.
4. Assessing program effectiveness and implementing continuous improvements.
5. Supervising staff and facilitating professional growth.
6. Managing information and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy.
7. Overseeing purchasing and inventory management for cost-effectiveness.
8. Facilitating staff learning and development.
9. Preparing operational reports and recommending improvements.
10. Participating in departmental training and quality assurance programs.
11. Engaging in educational programs to maintain skills.
12. Performing additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
