Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Perham, MN. You'll deliver obstetric care in a fast-paced hospital setting, determine maternal/fetal status, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure safety and quality.

This travel role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated clinical team; ideal candidates have L&D experience, RN license, and BLS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Active BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during delivery and exams.
• Provide postpartum care for mother and newborn.
• Educate on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document care and interventions in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
