Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The position runs for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts as a travel role.

The ideal candidate will have 3 years of recent acute care experience, BLS and NRP certifications, and will be able to manage labor support, epidurals, and immediate newborn care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; 2 years RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
• Keep beds clean and dry; clean up fluids.
• Aid physician with delivery instruments and drapes.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
