Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. This assignment is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour shift.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of acute care experience and holds BLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications. L&D duties include monitoring labor, assisting with deliveries, and caring for newborns in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience required.
• L&D certification or experience is preferred.
• Current BLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix progression and monitor dilation.
• Assist physicians with delivery instruments and procedures.
• Provide immediate care to newborn after birth.
