Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated L&D/OB Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide high-quality care on the obstetric floor, including couplet care and care for hysterectomy patients. The ideal candidate should have travel experience due to the current skill mix and be able to work both Labor & Delivery and postpartum units.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Labor & Delivery and postpartum units.
• Administer couplet care and assist with surgical care for hysterectomy patients.
• Monitor patients and assess fetal heart rates and overall maternal health.
• Engage in basic med-surg responsibilities as needed.
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation and maintain updated references.

Required Experience/Certifications/Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of L&D experience.
• Current RN license (State or Compact).
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN for fetal monitoring.
• Preferred: STABLE certification.
