ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The role requires Labor and Delivery experience and active RN licensure, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour day shifts.

The ideal candidate will monitor maternal and fetal status, assist with deliveries, provide newborn care, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes on a fast-paced unit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• High-risk obstetrical experience preferred.
• Current NRP and BLS/ALS certifications required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal and maternal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Perform immediate newborn care and related procedures (D&C, cerclage, C-hyst).
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
