ARMStaffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The RN will provide care during labor, delivery and postpartum, work with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility known for clinical quality and patient safety.

The contract is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour day shift (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM). Requirements include an active RN license with 2+ years in Labor & Delivery, BLS/ALS and NRP, with advanced fetal monitoring

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years in Labor & Delivery.
• High-risk pregnancy experience preferred.
• Current NRP and BLS/ALS certifications.
• Advanced fetal monitoring certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and monitor vital signs during labor and delivery.
• Provide immediate newborn care and support to new mothers.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and related procedures.
• Utilize fetal monitoring equipment and manage medications as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy, labor, and post-delivery care.
