Job summary

TotalMed RN is actively seeking a Labor & Delivery travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Templeton, CA. The role entails 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts, supporting patients through labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications. This travel position offers benefits and weekly pay through TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

Active California RN license
3 years' acute care experience
ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications

Responsibilities

Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
Assist physician with delivery instruments and setup.
Provide immediate care to the newborn.
