TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Fullerton, California. The role requires 13 weeks of assignment with 36 hours per week, on night shifts, starting 10/06/2026. This travel position emphasizes ACLS, BLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications and 3 years of acute care experience.

L&D travel nurses will monitor labor, assist with birth-related procedures, and provide newborn care while maintaining safety and emotional support for patients and families.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation.
• Assist physicians with epidurals, delivery instruments, or cesarean preparation.
• Immediate care of newborn.
