Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Bloomington, Illinois. The role requires 3 years of acute care experience, with 12-hour night shifts and a 36-hour work week.

Start date is ASAP, with a travel employment type and tax-free stipends as applicable. Responsibilities include monitoring laboring patients, assisting during delivery, newborn care, and supporting physicians during procedures such as epidurals or cesarean preparation.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
• Must have BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
• Travel nursing assignment with 13 weeks, 36 hours/week, start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Assist physicians during delivery and with epidurals or cesarean preparation.
• Provide immediate newborn care and support post-delivery.
