TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Breese, Illinois. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a night shift.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications. Responsibilities include monitoring labor, assisting during delivery, and providing newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN certifications required.
• Travel assignment for 13 weeks at 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
• Keep beds clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
