Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Labor and Delivery travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. The role requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour rotating shifts. Ideal candidates have acute care experience and current L&D related certifications.

As an L&D travel nurse, you will monitor labor, assist physicians, support epidurals, care for newborns and families, and uphold patient safety in a fast-paced setting. Benefits include weekly pay and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• BLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids.
• Assist physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, and delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate care of the newborn.
