Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Labor and Delivery travel nurse in Redwood Falls, MN. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, travel status included.

Acute care RN experience of 3 years is required, with ACLS/BLS/NRP/EFM certifications often preferred. The L&D traveler will support mothers before, during, and after delivery, assist physicians with anesthesia and procedural steps, monitor mom and baby, and manage immediate newborn care.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience.
• L&D RN knowledge and ability to assist during delivery.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Assist during delivery with drapes, gloves, gowns and instruments.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
