Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. The L&D RN will monitor labor, assist with deliveries, and care for the newborn in a fast-paced setting.

This travel role requires 3 years of acute care experience and ACLS/BLS/NRP/EFM certifications. Expect 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, and a benefits package including weekly pay and 401k.

Qualifications

• 3 years' recent acute care experience
• L&D certification preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Maintain clean and dry beds and manage bodily fluids.
• Assist physician with delivery instruments.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
