Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13‑week assignment in Vacaville, CA. The role involves direct obstetric patient care, monitoring, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum services.

Required: 1 year L&D RN experience, valid RN license, BLS, and NRP. Preferred: AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE and ACLS certifications. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in good standing per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
• Administer medications and assist physician during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal status and perform fetal monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff to deliver safe, high‑quality care.
