Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in San Leandro, CA. The role involves obstetric care, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with physicians and a clinical team to deliver high-quality maternal-newborn care.

Qualifications
- One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
- Valid California RN license.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications.
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing guidelines.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor and delivery.
- Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
- Educate patients on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and other team members.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
- Document care in the medical record.
