Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a travel nurse RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will assess maternal and fetal health, administer medications, and collaborate with obstetric teams to ensure safe, high-quality care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
- Valid RN license in California.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing techniques.
- Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients.
- Provide immediate postpartum care, including mother and newborn assessment and stabilization.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members.
